Non-surgical rhinoplasty

Nose correction without surgery and without downtime

Advances in minimally invasive treatment techniques make it possible to correct the shape of the nose without surgery.

Innovative hyaluronic acid products allow longer-lasting changes of shape. For example, slight humps on the nose or the nasal tip can be modelled very well with hyaluronic acid.

Given the right conditions, the shape of the nose can be improved with a minimally invasive procedure without any general anaesthesia or twilight sedation. The hyaluronic acid is injected into the subcutaneous tissue with fine cannulas.

This treatment method gives patients a very quick sense of success, because the corrected shape of the nose is visible immediately after the treatment.

In a personal consultation, Dr. Handl explains the individual treatment procedures to you and whether a nose correction with hyaluronic acid is promising, or possible at all, in your case.

Non-surgical rhinoplasty – costs

A nose correction without surgery, also known as “non-surgical rhinoplasty”, is a minimally invasive method of changing the shape and contour of the nose without the need for an operation. This method is an excellent alternative for patients who do not want surgery or cannot undergo a surgical rhinoplasty.

At Dr. Handl's practice in Vienna, non-surgical nose correction is performed with hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the body that can help to improve the appearance of the nose. The treatment is quick and simple and usually takes only about 15–30 minutes.

During the treatment, the hyaluronic acid is injected into the nose with a fine needle to create a new shape and contour. Irregularities can be evened out and asymmetries corrected. The result is a harmonious nose that suits the face better and makes the patient happier with their appearance.

The cost of a non-surgical nose correction with Dr. Handl starts at €380 and can vary depending on the extent of the treatment. The exact price is set in the consultation, in which all the patient's questions are also answered.

It is important to note that the results of a non-surgical nose correction are not permanent and usually need to be refreshed every 6–12 months. Nevertheless, it is a great option for patients looking for a quick and simple way to improve the appearance of their nose without having to undergo surgery.

Training for doctors

As a doctor, you have the opportunity to attend a seminar offered by Dr. Handl to learn the technique of non-surgical nose correction with hyaluronic acid. This technique makes it possible to correct the nose in just a few minutes and without the use of a scalpel or anaesthesia.

The treatment is based on injecting hyaluronic acid into the nose to achieve a harmonious shape and a balanced relationship between the nose and the face. It is a gentle alternative to conventional nose correction, which is often associated with pain and a long recovery time.

Dr. Handl has many years of experience in aesthetic medicine and is an expert in non-surgical nose correction. With his precise and sensitive technique, he achieves natural and aesthetically pleasing results for his patients. Link: www.vfpc.at

Preparation, risks and aftercare

Preparation

In the consultation, Dr. Handl checks whether your wish can be achieved with hyaluronic acid, for example evening out a hump or lifting the nasal tip. The nose cannot be made smaller this way. After consulting us, avoid blood-thinning medication and alcohol for a few days beforehand. Cooling and an anaesthetic cream are usually enough to numb the area.

Risks

Redness, swelling and small bruises are possible. The nose is an area with many small blood vessels: very rarely, the filler can block a vessel, which must be treated immediately and therefore requires a great deal of experience. Nodules, slight asymmetries or inflammation are rare. If necessary, hyaluronic acid can be dissolved again with an enzyme.

In the informed-consent consultation, Dr. Handl discusses all risks in detail and in relation to your personal situation.

Aftercare

Slight swelling usually subsides after 6 to 12 hours, and you can work again straight away. Do not press on your nose for the first two weeks and avoid wearing heavy glasses if possible. Avoid sport on the first day, cool the area if needed and remember sun protection. If needed, a check-up takes place after about one week.

Frequently asked questions

When does a nose correction with hyaluronic acid make sense?

Slight humps or irregularities of the nose can be evened out very well with hyaluronic acid. The nasal tip can also be modelled well with hyaluronic acid. This allows an immediate improvement without surgery.

Is a nose correction with hyaluronic acid painful?

With local anaesthesia and very fine cannulas, we make sure that pain is kept to an absolute minimum.

How long does the result last?

The result usually lasts about 3–7 months. After a few months, the hyaluronic acid is broken down again by the body itself.

What are the risks of the treatment?

Every procedure carries certain risks, but with gentle, minimally invasive methods they are very low. Swelling or small bruises may occur directly after the treatment, but these usually subside within 2–3 days. In the consultation, Dr. Handl informs you in detail about all the risks of the treatment method.

How does the treatment work?

First, the individual requirements and the patient's desired result are discussed in detail in a consultation with Dr. Handl. Once all open questions have been clarified, the treatment takes place in the practice on an outpatient basis. The hyaluronic acid is injected into the subcutaneous tissue with fine cannulas, evening out irregularities in shape. The result is visible immediately.

Does the injection leave a scar?

No, no scar remains at the injection site. The injection sites may still be slightly red directly after the treatment but are usually no longer visible the next day.
